| Abstract: | Convergence of the greedy algorithm in Walsh system in L p , p > 1 is studied. It is proved that there exists a function in L p , 1 < p < 2, with greedy algorithm not converging in measure to that function. A continuous function with divergent in L p , p > 2, greedy algorithm is constructed and sufficient conditions for convergence of the greedy algorithm in L p , p > 1 are given. |
