The p-Regular Partition Function Modulo p

Let b_?(n) denote the number of ?-regular partitions of n, where ? is a positive power of a prime p. We study in this paper the behavior of b_?(n) modulo powers of p. In particular, we prove that for every positive integer j, b_?(n) lies in each residue class modulo p^j for infinitely many values of n.
