Abstract:The methyl estarification of C_9-C_(18) fatty acids in potable spirits are studied.Theseparation of the esterification products was carried out on the column packed with 10%polyethlene glycol adipate. The recovery factor of esterification process and separation resultare satisfactory.The method is suitable for the gas chromatographic determination of C_9-C_(18)fatty acids in potable spirits,drinks,food and fermentative products.
