| Abstract: | his paper presents the theoretical and experimental work on the inelastic deformation behavior of a square plate subjected to cyclic in-plane compressive loading. Tests are conducted using welded built-up square box columns.The experimental investigation is focused on the influence of the initial deformation on the cyclic deformation behavior of plate components.The load-deformation performances due to cyclic and non-cyclic loading are compared. |
