| Abstract: | In this study, a three-component one-pot synthesis of select 5-amino-6-cyano-3-hydroxybenzoc]coumarin compounds derived from
salicylaldehydes, malononitrile, and ethyl acetoacetate is reported. The reaction is conducted on grinding over MgO at room
temperature resulting in good yields. |
