| Abstract: | A one step synthesis protocol for the conversion of heteroylthiosemicarbazides and 2,3‐dichloro‐1,4‐naphthoquinone to naphtho[2,3‐d]thiazoles, naphtho[2,3‐e][1,3,4]thiadiazines as well as bis(naphtho[2,3‐d]thiazolyl)copper(II) derivatives is described. The products were conclusively confirmed by single crystal X‐ray analyses. A mechanism for the formation of the products is presented. |
