The Access to the Three Subunits of the Antitumor Antibiotic CC-1065 by Hetero-Cope Rearrangement of Vinyl N-Phenylhydroxamates . The use of the hetero-Cope rearrangement of vinyl N phenylhydroxamates to indoles for the preparation of the 1,2-dihydro-3H, 6H-benzo1,2-b:4,3-b′]dipyrrole skeleton, the structural subunits characteristic of the antitu-mor antibiotic CC-1065 as well as the phosphodiesterase inhibitors PDE-I and PDE-II is described.
