Experimental determination of the double ionization energies of the perhalomethanes,CF3Br,CF2Br2, CFBr3 and CF2ClBr

The double ionization energies of the perhalomethanes CF₃Br, CF₂Br₂, CFBr₃ and CF₂ClBr have been determined using the technique of double-charge-transfer spectroscopy. The values found are compared with those of other perhalomethane molecules also determined in this laboratory.
