Spallation reactions in isotopically enriched targets |

| Abstract: | Yields of 42K and 43K have been measured in spallation reactions at 590 MeV and at 7 GeV in isotopically enriched targets from 58Ni to 68Zn. The results are correlated with other recent measurements in the development of a new empirical spallation-yield formula which takes into account the isotopic composition of the target. A practical example of the use of this formula is discussed. |
