| Abstract: | Siloxyallenes proved to be a useful functional intermediate in the preparation of (Z)-β-branched Morita-Baylis-Hillman type adducts by the reaction of aldehydes with silylacetylenes or siloxypropynes. Various (Z)-chalcones were stereoselectively synthesized from siloxypropynes via siloxyallenes. |
