| Abstract: | This paper deals with the vibrations of skew plates resting on point supports. The spline element method is used. To demonstrate the accuracy of the method, several examples are solved, and results are compared with those obtained by other approximate methods. The effects of skew angles and locations of point supports on natural frequencies of isotropic skew plates are also investigated. |
