Abstract: | Intercalates 3RVS2NH3 and 3RTaS2NH3, isostructural with 3RTiS2NH3, are described for the first time. Magnetic properties of 3RTiS2NH3, 3RVS2NH3, and 2HTaS2NH3 respectively are interpreted in terms of a charge transfer (in agreement with an ionic model) from the intercalant to the lowest conduction band which consists mainly ofeg, a1g anda′1 transition metald states. |
