Abstract:Intercalates 3Rsingle bondVS2NH3 and 3Rsingle bondTaS2NH3, isostructural with 3Rsingle bondTiS2NH3, are described for the first time. Magnetic properties of 3Rsingle bondTiS2NH3, 3Rsingle bondVS2NH3, and 2Hsingle bondTaS2NH3 respectively are interpreted in terms of a charge transfer (in agreement with an ionic model) from the intercalant to the lowest conduction band which consists mainly ofeg, a1g anda′1 transition metald states.
