| Abstract: | Highly efficient substrate and reagent controlled stereoselective synthesis of 2,6-trans-piperidine derivative (1) using an aza-Michael reaction is reported. This method was utilized to synthesize a variety of trans-piperidines on hundred-gram scales. |
