Structure of 12C with density independent Skyrme interaction |

| Abstract: | It is shown that the two-body spin-orbit part of the interaction is crucial in explaining the 12C energy spectrum. Thus a spin saturated model like alpha-cluster model would be quite inadequate to explain the structure of 12C nucleus. |
