Mao Zedong is the initiator of making social investigations and researches in Chinese Communist Party. He made tremendous social investigations and researches in the long-term Chinese revolution and construction, and formed the ideology of investigations and researches with substantial content, which was the scientific summation of the Chinese revolution and construction experience. In the process of overall construction of well-off society, the ideology is still of great historic and immediate significance for our Party to understand international and domestic situations, to adhere to the ideological line of "emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts", to strengthen and promote the Party's work style, and to carry forward the spirit of seeking truth and being pragmatic.
