| Abstract: | The first stereoselective method of preparation of (E)-dienol phosphates from alpha,beta-ethylenic aldehydes is described. The key point is the stereoselective enolization of conjugated alkenals by potassium tert-butoxide in the presence of N-methylpyrrolidinone (NMP). |
