| Abstract: | Vacuum ultraviolet absorption spectra of lead, indium and barium atoms trapped in solid rare gases are shown. These spectra were obtained photoelectrically and the matrix gases used were argon, krypton and xenon. The results are discussed in relation to previous work. |
