New intermediates for the synthesis of oligonucleotides by the phosphite triester approach

Heterocyclic bases such as triazole and tetrazole have been used to increase selectivity of phosphorylation of nucleosides in oligonucleotide synthesis $\text{via}$ the phosphite triesters.
