| Abstract: | We present a strategy for the detection of electrons coming from the semi-electronic decay of beauty particles generated in
Pb–Pb and p–p collisions at LHC using the ALICE detector. The experiment’s performance for this measurement is evaluated in
terms of accessible pt range and expected uncertainties.
