Supercharacters and the discrete Fourier,cosine, and sine transforms |

| Abstract: | Using supercharacter theory, we identify the matrices that are diagonalized by the discrete cosine and discrete sine transforms, respectively. Our method affords a combinatorial interpretation for the matrix entries. |
