Abstract: | Summary Cp2TiX-AlH3–nXn-Et2O(NEt3) systems where X is Cl or Br, and n=0 or 1 have been studied by dielectrometric and calorimetric titration and by e.s.r. techniques. Bimetallic 1 1 compounds containing hydrogen bridges are formed in all systems. All reaction products, with the exception of Cp2TiH2AlHCl · Et2O formed at 20 to 25°, are monomeric in solution. The monochloro derivative is a dimer containing both ordinary and double hydrogen bridges. |
