The determination of the model interaction potential parameters from a comparison of experimental and calculated ion ranges in an amorphous substance

Abstract:Parameters of the model atomic interaction potential are suggested to be determined by comparing the experimental and analytical values of projective ion ranges. The parameters were found for the interaction of Bi, Pb, Au, Yb, Er, Eu, Cs, Xe, Sn, Rb, Kr, Ga, and Cu ions with carbon and boron atoms.
