| Abstract: | A new fluorescent probe has been designed and synthesized by linking dicarboxylate pseudocrown ether to the BODIPY® (4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene) fluorophore. The probe allows determination of free lead ions in living cells. |
