| Abstract: | The most effective fields of operation of the ACV are discussed, and it is shown that the vehicle effectively fills the role of a heavy transporter over weak terrain. A speculative discussion of the interaction between ACV skirts and various terrain is given in some detail. In conclusion short notes are given on some current experimental programmes, and on the work of some actual vehicles in the field. |
