| Abstract: | Four different extraction methods(traditional soaking, extracting and obtaining the tctal alkaloids from plant sample; soaking the plant sample sequentially with ethanol and phosphoric acid; soaking the plant sample with 95% ethanol; soaking the plant sample with phosphoric acid) for alkaloids in vinca minor were described. Semi-preparative HPLC was used to separate and determine Vincamino in the above mentioned four extracts. Results obtained showed that the direct phosphoric acid extraction method was the best among the four methods. Advantages and disavantages of the four methods were discussed in detail. |
