Entanglement Dynamics of Two Spin Qubits in a Spin Environment with Nonuniform Coupling

Abstract:We investigate the entanglement dynamics of a two-spin-qubit system coupled to a spin environment with nonuniform coupling through using the time-dependent density-matrix renormalization group method. We show that the entanglement generation and decay depend on the number of environment spins, the coupling strength between the central spin system and the environment, and the initial state of the central spin system.
