| Abstract: | The extraction of 4-chlorobenzoic and 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acids with hydrophilic solvents (butyl alcohols, acetone, and ethyl acetate) from aqueous solutions was studied. Extraction conditions were optimized using mathematical methods of experimental design. A procedure was developed for the selective determination of acids using the non-aqueous titration of the extract. |
