| Abstract: | Fixation of biological compounds (cholesterol and testosterone) on (2-hydroxyethyl)methacrylate has been realized by a carbonate linkage. These new monomers have been characterized by N.M.R. and i.r.; they have been polymerized by a radical process. Resulting homopolymers have been analysed and compared with polymers bearing similar active compounds, previously synthesized by chemical modification of poly (2-hydroxyethyl)methacrylate. |
