| Abstract: | We give a model calculation of the resonance Raman amplitude of spin-degenerate molecules that are subject to Jahn-Teller distortion. The method is applied to the resonance Raman excitation profiles of the ν3(t2) and ν1(31g) modes of FeBr4?. |
