Abstract: | Laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) detection of OH radicals is used to examine the reaction of CO2 molecules with translationally hot H atoms generated by ArF laser photolysis of HBr. Prompt formation of rotationally excited OH X 2Πi(υ″ = 0,1,2), has been observed. |
