| Abstract: | A variety of engineering problems can be successfully solved by coupling finite element and boundary element procedures. Approximate boundary elements, which can be used when dealing with radiation problems in unlimited domains are presented. They are simple to implement and can be easily inserted in existing frontal solution packages. Numerical examples are also reported. |
