| Abstract: | Carbomagnesiation of acetylenic sulfone in the presence of catalytic amount of CuCN gave α-sulfonyl vinyl magnesium reagent, which further reacted with aldehydes to afford polysubstituted vinyl sulfones in moderate to good yields. |
