| Abstract: | Zero-field splitting parameters of phenanthrene and 26 azaanalogues in their lowest triplet state have been evaluated from EPR spectra; triplet lifetimes axe also given The parameters D of phenanthrene and the monoazaanalogues are in good accord with calculated values. The results are discussed in terms of differences in electron distribution and configuration. |
