Spin-rotation relaxation times for methyl compounds with hindrance barriers at 65°C

Abstract:The 13C spin-rotation relaxation times of methyl groups with a range of potential barriers to hindered rotation were measured for five compounds at 65°C. The data follow a pattern similar to those obtained earlier at 10°C and 38°C, and agree well with the theoretical results of Mendonca et al.
