| Abstract: | The rate of the energy exchange process 12C16O (v= 1)+ 13C16O (v= 0) ? 12C16O (v= 0) +13C16O (v= 1) + 47.2 cm?1 has been measured by laser-induced fluorescence, k2 = (7.2 ± 0.3) × 104 s?1 Torr?1 at 293 K. This result is in reasonable agreement with that predicted by theories based on long-range dipole-dipole interactions |
