| Abstract: | The camphor-derived N-acetyloxazolidinethione has been used to effect enantioselective aldol type reaction of the derived thioimide titanium enolate with unsaturated aldehyde-TiCl4 complex. The observed facial selectivity is best explained by an open transition state model. |
