| Abstract: | The curing of heat-treated pyrocatechol — formaldehyde resins was studied by means of IR (infrared) and EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance) spectra. A hypothesis about the mechanism of resin curing is offered on the basis of the experimental data obtained. |
