Abstract:The neutron scattering intensity from polyelectrolyte solutions is calculated using an asymmetric primitive model electrolyte for the computation of the partial structure factors and a Debye function for the polyion form factor. The variation of the intensity with wavevector and concentration agrees with experimental results.
