Abstract:The problem of the stability of the periodic motion of a non-linear periodic Hamiltonian system is considered in the case of pure imaginary characteristic exponents which also satisfy several fourth-order resonance conditions. Conditions for stability and instability are formulated based on terms of the third order inclusive. Some conclusions generalize results obtained previously [1].
