Experimental Study of Ionization Waves in the contracted Discharge in Neon |

| Abstract: | It is proved experimentally that there exist constriction ionization waves propogating in the form of current pinch neckings. Dynamics of abrupt contraction and strate arising is investigated by current modulation near the critical value. Dispersion laws are determined depending on discharge conditions. |
