| Abstract: | A method for determination of gold at low concentrations by flame and nonflame AAS is described. After the pretreatment and decomposition of the samples gold is extracted with MIBK containing dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6. The extract is aspirated into a flame or injected into a graphite furnace. Various interferences are examined and the precision of the method is evaluated. |
