Igalan, a new sesquiterpene lactone from Inula grandis

Conclusions A new sesquiterpene lactone C₁₅H₂₀O₂ with mp 79–79.5°C, []_D²⁰+105° (chloroform) has been isolated from the roots ofInula grandis Schrenk., and we have called it igalan.
