| Abstract: | Inosinic acid (IMP) has been prepared by the deamination of adenosine monophosphate (AMP) with an immobilized adenosine (phosphate) deaminase extracted from the snail Biomphalaria glabrata. The enzyme has been immobilized in polyacrylamide beads. The preparation and characterization of this system are described. |
