| Abstract: | Morphologic features which allow the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis by ultrasound and CT have now been observed by MR. When present, thickening of the gallbladder wall, intramural abscess, pericholecystic fluid, and the presence of gallstones may be more specific than MR characterization of gallbladder bile. |
