A simple classical derivation of spin-orbit couplings |

| Abstract: | A general derivation of spin-orbit couplings for arbitrary velocities is given which is based only on the definition of spin as the angular momentum in a rest frame of the particle and on the equation of motion in a non-inertial frame of reference. |
