| Abstract: | The thermodynamic properties of alkali halide crystals are considered. Correlations between the thermodynamic characteristics (such as the melting temperature, the melting energy, and the jump in the entropy upon melting) and the binding energy of dipolons are established for 16 alkali halide crystals. |
