Derivation of Isothermal Retention Indices from the Retention Values under Multiple - ramp Temperature-programmed Conditions

Since temperature _ programmed retention values are usually affected by operation conditions, their applications are constrained. In this paper, a method to derive isothermal retention indices from the retention values under two multiple _ ramp temperature _ programmed conditions is described. With an example of hydrocarbons, the feasibility of the method has been illustrated both theoretically and experimentally.
