| Abstract: | A new method named eigen-driven method with which the circular array can be analyzed is proposed in the paper. The desired array pattern is calculated by vectorial superposition of eigen-driven patterns. Eigen-driven pattern can be obtained by either numetical calculation or measurement,and this method is independent from the kinds of elements. Coupling between array elements and mismatch at the input port are also considered. For certifying the valid of this methed, an 8-elements and a 16-elements low side-lobe circular array are analyzed. The calculated results are presented and discussed in detail. |
