Numerical solution of one‐dimensional Burgers' equation

Abstract:In this article, an iterative method for the approximate solution of a class of Burgers' equation is obtained in reproducing kernel space urn:x-wiley:0749159X:media:num21945:num21945-math-0001. It is proved the approximation urn:x-wiley:0749159X:media:num21945:num21945-math-0002 converges uniformly to the exact solution u(x, t) for any initial function urn:x-wiley:0749159X:media:num21945:num21945-math-0003 under trivial conditions, the derivatives of urn:x-wiley:0749159X:media:num21945:num21945-math-0004 are also convergent to the derivatives of u(x, t), and the approximate solution is the best approximation under the system urn:x-wiley:0749159X:media:num21945:num21945-math-0005 © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
