| Abstract: | The liquid state is described by means of a hindered, translatational degree of freedom. Expressions for the activation energy at the temperature of fusion, the binding energy, the latent heat of evaporation, the triple point, the vapour pressure and for a Lindemann-type formula could be derived. |
